Tyler Anderson
President
Tyler Anderson is the founder and owner of Advanced Striping and Sealcoating. He grew up in the asphalt industry following in the footsteps of his father, Lynn, in Cormorant, MN. He spent many of his summer days riding alongside his dad learning about running an asphalt crew firsthand and just what it takes to make sure the job’s done right.
Eventually, Tyler stepped into a variety of roles in his father’s asphalt crew while acquiring an undeniable passion for the industry. After college where he studied business and psychology and a brief stint working with GPS navigation systems, he decided to pursue his own American dream and open a small business, Advanced Striping and Sealcoating Inc. Twelve plus years later and he’s willing to let the work speak for itself about whether he made the right choice or not.
Jake Johnson
Sales/Project Manager:
Jake grew up in Anoka, MN. He was raised in the construction industry, working for his dad’s residential concrete business. His dad quickly taught him the basics of taking pride in anything and everything you do, as well as treating the jobsite and product like it is your own.
Growing up, if he was not playing basketball, he was hunting or fishing, as he absolutely loves the outdoors. He went on to play college basketball at Minnesota State University Moorhead and graduated from MSUM with a Bachelors in Business Management in 2019.
Jake has now been in the asphalt industry since 2018. He has a passion in customer relation and takes pride in providing customers with the best solution that will give them the most value.
Amanda Hoffman
Office Administrator
Amanda was born and raised in Fargo, ND. Upon graduating from South High School in 2008, she attended MSCTC. Since then, she has found herself drawn to the hustle and bustle of the construction industry, sticking to the office side of things.
She joined our team in the Spring of 2020 and when asked what will continue to bring her back every season, she said, “This is the best job I’ve had in the construction industry, by far, as everything from the work I do, to the people I get to work with daily, to working for Tyler is all just awesome.” She enjoys keeping busy, maintaining organization in the office, providing excellent customer service and helping out her co-workers in any way she can.
Jo Bolinske
Striping Foreman
Jo grew up in Fargo, ND, graduating from Fargo South High in 2008. A couple years after graduating, Jo went on to attend school to be a cop. He changed direction once he found a career in parking lot striping, working for Advanced Striping, beginning in 2014.
A couple things Jo loves about his job? Listening to music while creating his parking lot masterpieces and working for Tyler. We asked what drives his passion, his response was “straight yellow lines”.
When Jo isn’t working, he enjoys golfing, with a cold beer in hand, gaming and hanging out with his friends.
